The wonders of Tiny Tinathe Gearbox spin-off Borderlands series, is not a super long game. Nonetheless, it still offers a pretty significant amount of stuff to do, whether you’re committing to the end game or going down the really crazy path of maxing out one character for each class. Those looking to min-max will want to hit the level cap, which is 40, as soon as possible.
Not only can you unlock all the necessary skills for your character, but you also have access to Myth Ranks for even more stats and upgrades. To do this, you will need to earn a lot of XP quickly.
For starters, completing all of the side quests isn’t a necessary requirement, but they do provide large amounts of XP and some useful loot. So it doesn’t hurt to take a break from the main quest and jump in next. If you want to jump into action quickly, then exploring the outside world is a good idea.
There are different dungeons and camps to discover, each packed with enemies. Venturing off the main path into tall grass also initiates random encounters which are also just as decent for providing XP. Nothing revolutionary but if it works, it works.
You should also search for Grindanna Shrine Coins on the overworld map. The Shrine permanently increases all XP gained by 10%, further maximizing those gains. Finally, there is the Chaos Dungeon. Unlocked after completing the main story, it’s your main end-game activity with randomized dungeons that offer powerful loot and XP. If you are close to level 40 and only have a few levels left to go, then farming this method is the most ideal.
Another way to further increase XP gain is to equip the Blank Slate, a legendary armor that increases experience gained by 10%. It’s a world drop, so getting one may not be easy (and may or may not roll with other passives), so it’s not really doable for late game farming. Still, if you happen to find one earlier or want to level up a new character, it might come in handy.
How to earn gold fast
Another important resource when venturing into Wonderland is gold. This is used for a variety of purposes, including buying new weapons and armor from vending machines. As you level up, higher item level weapons will become available and cost even more.
If you weren’t lucky enough to have a legendary that can get you to the endgame, it’s necessary to have a decent pile of gold on hand in case something good pops up.
Side quests are a great source of gold, but you’ll also want to sell any loot that won’t be used. Since the game often offers the same to players, there are bound to be rare or epic weapons that you will never need. It’s also worth hunting down Mool Ah Shrine Coins, as it permanently increases all gold earned by 10%.
The wonders of Tiny Tina is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. See our review here for more details.
