The Sims 4 guide: Best Expansion, Game, and Stuff Packs

The sims 4 offers plenty of downloadable content in the form of expansion packs, game packs, item packs and, most recently, kits. These are all paid packages that add a plethora of new content to the game, from the ability to have a hot tub in your backyard to the addition of magic and spells. Our The sims 4 The DLC guide details the best expansion packs, game packs, and item packs, according to the biggest Sims fans at Polygon.

The Sims 4 DLC, explained and priced

Expansion packs usually add new game systems, like seasons or the ability to own retail stores, while also adding tons of hairstyles, clothing, and home furnishings. They cost $ 39.99.

Game packs are smaller than expansion packs, but they can also add systems like magic. They also include hairstyles, clothing, and furniture, but much less than expansion packs. Cost of game packs $ 19.99.

Stuff packs are even smaller and typically only include a handful of hairstyles, clothing, and furniture. Cost of Stuff Kits $ 9.99.

Kits are even smaller than Stuff Packs and only include a few items, some of which add a new little mechanic to the game, like vacuuming. The kits are $ 4.99.

Below we’ll talk about our favorite expansion, game, and item packs that add our favorite items to The sims 4. Of course, you don’t need all (or none) of them to play the games, but these are the ones we like the most.

The Sims 4: City Living Expansion Pack

I don’t know why, but the Apartment and City-themed Sims packs are still my favorite (** send a kiss to The Sims 2: Apartment Living, my beloved buggy **). I love that NPC Sims live near my own Sims, and I love the immersion of having the world directly available for interaction – my Sims can wake up in the morning and order coffee from the booth, everything like me !

City life adds a bunch of unique neighborhoods to metropolitan San Myshuno, each with their own unique aesthetic and quirks, along with cool furniture and clothing. You can also attend The Sim Comic-Con, which I think is hilarious. – Petrana Radulovic
