How to change Furfrou forms and trims in Pokémon Go

Pokemon Go now Furfrou, the poodle-like Pokémon that has many shapes. For those looking to grasp all forms of Furfrou, you will need to travel. Our Pokémon Go guide explains the different Furfrou forms and where to get them.

Furfrou can appear anywhere, with appearances increasing during specific events, such as Fashion Week.

How to change Furfrou forms in Pokémon Go

Once you’ve caught a Furfrou, you can change its shape using 10,000 Stardust and 25 Furfrou Candy. Once you hit the button on his profile page, you will be given a choice of several different forms to edit it.

Furfrou has different forms, called Toppings. Some versions are available for everyone, with some being locked in different regions. The toppings are as follows:

  • Matron’s garnish: Available everywhere
  • Dandy trim: Available everywhere
  • Beginner’s garnish: Americas only
  • Diamond trim: Europe, Middle East and Africa only
  • Star trim: Asia-Pacific only
  • The Queen garnish: France only
  • Kabuki garnish: Japan only
  • Pharaoh trim: Egypt only
  • Heart filling: Not yet available)

You don’t need to catch the Furfrou in the respective region to change it, you just need to be in that area. This means you can save a bunch of Furfrou that you caught over time and change shape if you ever travel to those areas.
