Halo Infinite leans into the ‘Craig’ memes that contributed to the game’s delay

Infinite haloThe campaign won’t be released until December, but players with Early Access have already discovered Easter Eggs – one, in particular, centered around a Brute named Craig.

YouTube creator Mint Blitz is the Infinite halo player who spotted Craig’s Easter egg, The Verge reported on Friday. Craig is Infinite haloOnce-besieged bully who grabbed a lot of criticism under Microsoft’s original reveal for the game, due to a blind gaze and flat face. He quickly became a meme – on social media and inside developer 343 Industries.

“If you think there are a lot of memes on the outside, there are a lot on the inside. [343 Industries], ” Infinite halo narrative director Paul Crocker told Playserver. “There are Craig Easter Eggs in the game. It’s a sure thing that some of our art team have really embraced like ours. “

The Craig Easter Egg spotted by Mint Blitz positions the Brute – who has since had a luminous glow – like a rockstar. It’s on top of a building that requires an upgraded Hookshot, where there’s a staging next to a collectible skull. Craig’s tour poster is here, as well as a recording of his jams: “I Am So Famous”, “I Smile Inside” and “I Got Tears Last Summer”, among others.

Looks like Craig has been busy on the Zeta Halo Tour. But are there more Craig Easter Eggs around Zeta Halo? It’s not clear, but we’ll definitely be on the lookout.

Infinite haloMultiplayer is now available, but the campaign will be released on December 8.
