Halo Infinite campaign co-op pushed further to August

Halo Infinite co-op campaign

As previously confirmed, it will not arrive with season 2

Infinite Halo the co-op campaign will arrive in August, a new update from the 343 Industries blog has fully confirmed.

The news comes directly after the acknowledgment that the game type would not be available for the launch of Season 2, but now we have a clearer window in mind. Interestingly, the developer didn’t go into too much detail about the exact details of the co-op game, other than saying “it’s being worked on.”

The August soft confirmation was mostly done by a 2022 roadmap image in fact, and that’s a “late August target” at that. Breaking it down, it’s “late August, maybe September” that we’re looking at, which is a “target.” This target can still move! Maybe we will get Infinite Halo co-op campaign in time for the Christmas/winter holidays. This also includes the ‘Campaign Mission Replay’ mechanic, also slated for ‘late August’, followed by an open beta of Forge mode in September (all targets).

In the near future, the new Catalyst (Arena) and Breaker (big team battle) maps will arrive when Season 2 arrives on May 3, with the Interference Alpha Pack arriving twice throughout the season as “ narrative event. The new 100-tier battle pass will trigger during Season 2, and “The Fracture: Entrenched” even runs from May 24 to May 30.

Season 2 will run until November 7, so the aforementioned objectives may actually drop that far and technically allow 343 to kick off co-op in “Season 2.”
