Death Loop‘s Moxie is an unforgiving glove of laser wires and glowing floorboards that Colt must hopscotch through in a short amount of time. To say it’s tough is an understatement. But there is a way to reduce the difficulty of the Moxie to a more manageable level, and we’ll show you how in our Death Loop Moxie guides and earns your reward.
Head to Updaam in the morning and meet at the Moxie. It’s closed now, but the feedback loop note, which says the Moxie is open to the public in the afternoon, is taped to the outside door.
From the Moxie, go right until you find a door under the rocky viaduct. Go inside and you will find the From the note of the machine, where a character named Sparky tell Charlie they’ve added a debug mode to the Moxie. Hack the antenna next to the note, and you’ll turn on easy mode.
There will be no visible signs that anything has changed now, so head for the exit.
Return to Updaam in the afternoon, head to the Moxie and enter through the front door. Go through Moxie’s challenge spinner. Every obstacle is much easier now. Floor panels move slower and there are fewer lasers to dodge. But you still have a short window of time to complete the course (about three minutes by our stopwatch).
Having Shift equipped goes a long way to being able to finish the Moxie quickly. (And if you don’t have Shift, check out our walkthrough for Space Invader (Charlie) Visionary Lead.)
If you go through all three floors of the window, you will get a purple rarity Rapier, which costs 8,000 Residue to infuse. Do that and you’ll get a weapon that offers solid range while dealing some serious damage to take with you in future loops.
