Back 4 Blood Beta Runs at 4K/60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as Per Analysis

The Turtle Rock Studios Beta left for dead spiritual successor Back 4 Blood has gone live on all platforms, giving people the chance to jump in and get a taste of what it has to offer in the PvP and PvE departments. New details are, as such, coming to light, and we also got a glimpse of what to expect from the game technically when it launches later this year.

YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits uploaded a graphics comparison of the game’s beta and found it ran at 4K and 60 FPS on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. There’s apparently very little to separate the two. versions, and while Act 1 runs at native 4K, it’s likely that in other areas dynamic resolution will be used instead. On Xbox Series S, meanwhile, the resolution drops to 1296p.

While there’s practically very little difference in any version of the game’s beta, the video indicates that the PC version comes out on top, thanks to FOV settings, anisotropic filtering, and ambient occlusion. You can watch the full video below.

The beta is currently live for everyone who pre-ordered the game and will be available for everyone on August 12, until August 16.

Back 4 Blood will launch on October 12 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
